Flatey

Flatey is the most famous island of Breidarfjörður. The church on the island is decorated with paintings of the artist Baltasar and has recently been renovated.

Tourist information, a restaurant and an area for camping are all things that you find on the island. During the summer, the ferry Baldur makes two stops at Flatey each day.
